He is really much more Vince McMahon than Edward R. Murrow.
Very interesting article. At least he admits at the end of it all that he's probably just an entertainer.
That's what his writing is to me, entertainment.
It's sad when people quote Eklund as a source. Really sad and ill informed.
I can't tell you how many times he has thrown out Vinny to Montreal rumours, and ha recently said the Bolts are considering bringing back Sean Burke. MMM the sweet smell of horse s#*t. I think he may be worse than Garrioch. Actually...maybe they are the same person. Both spew so much garbage, it makes you sick. I followed his blogging at the trade deadline, and he was dead wrong probably 70 percent of the time. No wonder he wants to stay anonymous.
I feel your frustration there RJ. He's been running with a Kolvachuk to the Oilers rumor as of late too. It's just as likely to come true as "Eklund to the N.Y. Times" would be.

I like his site. I don't consider him a good source, and I'm well aware that the majority of what he posts is nonsense, but Hockeybuzz is a regular stop on my daily search for all-things-hockey. If nothing else, it's a good collection of blogs that cover a pretty wide array of topics & teams.
